A message from the Director & Head Coach

 A message from Our Director…

Look out US Open is coming.Hopefully Sam Stosur can hit her peak and do well. I think that Roddick is the player to watch in the Mens Draw.

Our first Orange and Green Challenge with Sanctuary Cove is coming up this term. James and I will select players to compete in this event.

Congratulations to Luke and Kimberly for representing Queens Park to their best ability on their overseas trips.

Luke was in Germany and Kimberly was in Italy. Great to see their improvements after their time on clay in Europe.

Fixtures is coming to a close at the end of this term so if you are interested in playing SUMMER Fixtures for Queens Park please let Ros know.

Looking forward to see you on court

Kind Regards

John Birrell

A message from Our Head Coach…

Wimbledon is here already! It has certainly crept up on us with the spotlight mainly focused on the world cup.

Lets hope Sam Stosur can continue her confident play on the grass courts, where she'll be able to utilise her excellent doubles game.

We are organising a trip to the Rochampton Junior in September. This will be a great opportunity for players and parents to get an insight into the travelling schedule of a tennis professional. If anyone is interested come see me or John.

TERM 3 is already looking busy, exciting and having some massive changes. You'll have to wait and see!

Don't forget to signup for the Junior Camps and TERM 3 Junior classes.

TERM 3 is going to be a busy time for players, parents, coaches and Queens Park staff and I look forward to everyone improving and enjoying their tennis. Good Luck to everyone competing in all up and coming tournaments.

Kind Regards

James Griffiths
